Club Twinning

The Rotary Club of Gravesend & Meopham have forged a relationship with a Rotary Club in Goes, a town in Zeeland province of the Netherlands. Over the years of that relationship we have taken it in turns to last few years to host members of the other club in our respective towns, many being entertained in member’s homes. These pictures show our hosting of the Goes club in Sandwich in 2017 & a meeting of the two clubs in France for a golf day in 2018.

The two clubs have enjoyed many a day out in both countries over the years & will continue to keep this friendship to the fore even in these difficult times. 

Whilst in lockdown we have also decided to try & reach out to other clubs in the world, connecting via Zoom with a club in Pennsylvania, USA & another in Ontario Canada.

We are hoping these new connections will lead to fostering friendship joint assistance towards the goals of Rotary.
