Golf for Elliott Holmes Memorial Fund

Some twenty hardy souls braved the weather and the ground for a golf day at London Beaches Golf Club on Friday 24th March.

It was an improvement on the same event the year before which was blessed with snow and hail!  We only had to endure a very soggy course (every step a squelch!) and quite a strong cold wind. 

The day was won by David Rose after quite a few of us finished on 16 points.  His was the best after count back.  The longest drive was won by Steve Old and the nearest the pin by Simon Baxter.

We do hope someone books the weather next time out!
