Burns Night 2023

The Rotary Club held its annual tribute to the Scottish poet Robbie Burns on Tuesday 24th January.

We had a traditional meal of Cullen Skink, Haggis with neeps and tatties with a dessert of Cranachen cheesecake.  Some of us had a wee dram with our meal too.

The traditional piping in of the haggis was performed once again and Peter Williamson, dressed in kilt, read a few words to honour the poet. A good night was had by all and we raised £xxx on the night via a raffle.
