A group of us visited the Royal British Leigon Industries in Aylesford on 16th January. We saw the factories where they make pallets, road and rail signage, and products to sell on their on-line shop. We saw their village and emergency accommodation to support veterans in crisis. We also heard about all the educational courses to support veterans make the transition when they leave the forces. Lisa Cooksley-White and her team spent a couple of hours with us. We finished the visit with a wonderful lunch in their cafe.
It was really good to hear about local groups that we have supported.
