At our meeting on 9th January, we celebrated Dr Peter Jones reaching 40 years membership in Rotary!

President Nigel Crocker presented Peter with a certificate and a bottle of Champagne and his wife Sue received a bouquet of flowers.

It was the exact anniversary as on the 9th January 1984 Peter became a member of the Rotary Club of Gravesend and then moved to Gravesend and Meopham when we were formed in 1992. He and Sue moved to France for a number of years, where he enjoyed being part of the Rotary Club of Gaillac. He returned to Kent a few years ago and came back to us.
