World Polio Day is 24th October. Rotary International has been a leading contributor to the elimination of Polio since 1985, with the disease now eradicated in all but two countries world-wide.
Purple crocuses are a symbol and celebration of this project. Members of the Club planted about 1000 corms at Hook Green on the day – look out for the blossoms in early Spring!
