At our regular club meeting on Tuesday, 8th April, we had a talk from Ashley Bard from the RNLI, who gave an excellent presentation about the work of the RNLI on the River Thames from near Southend through London.  He is a member of the crew at Gravesend Station, one of the busiest in the country in terms of the number of calls it handles.
