On Saturday 12th September 2026, Gravesend and Meopham Rotary club will be presenting the Alternate Shadows Theatre Group’s production of: Murder, They Wrote.

Join us for this murder mystery dining experience, at the 3 Daws Riverside Inn, Gravesend, KENT, in aid of Ellenor.

Doors open at 7pm with a 7:30pm start, concluding at around 10pm.

Tickets are £25.75 and include a hot meal of your choice from a selection

Audience members will watch as the mystery unfolds before them, and will later be invited to investigate the crime.

It’s Spring 1953 and a collection of murder mystery novelists arrive at a Country house hotel.

Each are expected, as per their invite, as a guest of a high-profile publisher. But upon arrival is all as it really seems? They all have a crime to solve. But which one? For each of them have their own guilty secrets.

The performance begins at 7:30pm, with an interval at 8:15 when food will be served. Clue packs will be handed out. Around 8:45 the performers will return to provide the audience with an opportunity to ask questions to help narrow down the suspects. At 9:15 there will be another, shorter break, when the audience can submit their conclusions. At 9:30pm the cast return to present the conclusion, and award the audience member who guessed/got closest to the solution a Certificate of Super Sleuthing!

Suitable for all ages, and in the style of an Agatha Christie mystery and is promising to be a fun and entertaining evening!
