Santa’s Festive Visit to Meopham and Isted Rise Supports Local Foodbank

Santa Claus recently visited Meopham Community Academy and the residents of Isted Rise, spreading festive cheer with the help of local Rotarians and elves. The community showed incredible generosity by donating a bumper selection of essential goods for a local foodbank. These contributions will provide vital support to families in need during the winter season.

This year we once again had a wonderful visit from the jolly old man from the North Pole, who brought plenty of festive cheer to our local area. He began his journey by visiting the excited students at Meopham Community Academy on the 6th of December, and then he was out and about visiting the residents and families of Isted Rise! Our dedicated Rotarians ably assisted Santa in his many duties, working tirelessly alongside a few helpful elves to ensure the sleigh kept moving and the holiday spirit was shared with everyone.

The community’s generosity was truly heart-warming, as visitors to Santa kindly donated a bumper selection of goods for a local foodbank. This impressive collection of essential items was gratefully received and will provide much-needed support to families in our community during the winter season.

See you again next December, Santa! We are already looking forward to your return.
